Step 1: Search For Clients
Choose the Business-to-Consumer rating system by clicking on "Search for & Rate
Consumer Clients" button.
While logged into the Better Client
Service, you can return your My Account page at any time by clicking your
username in the top right corner of every page.

Fill in your search criteria and click "Search". You can
search by Client contact information, by BCS ID, or by social security number.

Review the results.
If your client is found, click "View Client Report" to see
individual Business Ratings or "Rate This Client" to add a Rating.
If the Client is not found see the Add a
New Client instructions.

Step 2: View Client Report
The rating chart at the top of the screen represents a composite rating of
all the individual business transactions that are listed below it. The
thick black bar is the average of all of the individual business transactions
ratings in each of the categories. The gray bar represents the spread of
ratings around the average and should cover 60% of all of the ratings
entered. The thin black tick mark to the left of the average bar is the
minimum rating ever given in a specific area. The thin black tick mark to
the right of the average bar is the maximum rating ever given in a specific
area. The dashed blue line represents 100% compliance to all contracted
terms. Rating above represent exceptional clients and ratings below
represent varying degrees of non-performance. (See the Rate This Client
Section to understand the specific rating areas in detail)

By viewing the composite rating graph, the individual ratings and the
rater comments you can make your own determination as to whether this is a
Client that you would like to work with, or at least how you might want to quote
the potential work.
Step 3: Rate a Client
Rate the Client in the 6 areas listed according to the criteria
explained. Please read the rating scales to be sure to rate the Client appropriately.
If a specific subject does not apply, then select N/A. If N/A is selected,
that category will
not be rated and will have no effect on the Clients composite rating.

Click "Enter Rating" and you will be sent to the "Search for
& Modify Consumer Ratings" screen to review your entry.

Verify the Rating you entered. If there are any errors, please click
"Modify This Rating" to correct it. You can return to this
screen from your "My Account" page later at any time to Search for
& Modify Your Ratings. Here you can always come to review the details
of all of the rating that you can preciously entered without having to generate
a Client Report. Because of this, this screen does not allow you to view
other Member's ratings for clients.

Step 4: Add a New Client
If you cannot find the client you would like to rate, please try to change
your search criteria, or search for their previous address or previous contact
info. Not finding a Client based on SSN does not mean that they they are
not in the system. It is possible that they have been entered, but their
SSN is not on record. If your client is still not found, then click "Add a New Client".
Fill in the Client contact details and click "Add Client
Information"

Review the information you entered. Please be sure to verify the
information, as this is the last time that you will ever be able to edit what
you entered.

Then click "Rate This Client" to enter a rating or "Search for
& Rate Clients" to look for other Clients.
Step 5: Update
Client Contact Information
Edit the Client's information and click "Update Client Information"

Review the information you entered. Please be sure to verify the
information, as this is the last time that you will ever be able to edit what
you entered. Then click "Rate This Client" to enter a rating or
"Search for & Rate Clients" to look for other Clients.

Searching for the Client again will show the effect of Updating the Client's
Contact information. You can find the client with the new or the old
information, and a record of both sets of contact information is displayed when
found. This allows the system to find and track clients as they move and
change addresses. That is why you should look for clients at any of their
previous contact information if you cannot find them at their current address.
